Solo Travel @ New Zealand

After been working for 9 months, successfully i manage to get a visitor visa so then i have decided to travel after 9 months earning. planned the route and where to start and also the budget.. not hard to plan but when it is related to money then u need to plan it wisely. especially related to the accommodation since i will travel solo and i choose to travel by bus. its expensive when u stay at the backpackers just for a few days and changing to another with same duration. usually if u take it for weekly u will get at the special price but since u just spend day or two then it will be at normal price. that is the matter that u need to plan it wisely.

as i been working at both South and North Island so i quite familiar with both islands but since i will travel back to my country from Auckland so i have decided to start traveling from South Island and coming back to North Island and fly out.

On March my working visa expired and straight away on March 8 i traveled to South Island from North Island.

Spending 3 weeks at friend’s places and also planning the route finally on 23rd March i choose to start in Motueka one of Tasman region, coming down to do West Coast down to Otago down again to Southland up to Canterbury and finished South Island at Marlborough.

and for the plan i want to do North Island the same, but since last minute i have a problem with my excess baggage so all the plan changed, so for North Island i only do Hobbiton before heading back to Auckland.

as a summary i guess that i have traveled (+ working) 80% of South Island and only 50% of North Island.

i hope to come back and finish another 20% of South Island and 50% of North Island.
